Passionate about helping you move and feel your best
I'm a Physiotherapist based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, with over a decade of treating experience. I have a background in Sports Physiotherapy and diagnose and treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
I greatly enjoy treating the spine, neck and associated pain referrals, as well as treating sports and overuse injuries. My approach combines evidence-based manual therapy with exercise rehabilitation to get you back to doing what you love.
As a mom myself, I have a special interest in antenatal and postpartum recovery, and run Pilates classes specifically designed for moms at all stages.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No. In South Africa physiotherapists are first-line practitioners, so you can book directly without seeing a doctor first.
If I think you need a scan, a script or a specialist opinion, I will refer you on and send a report to your doctor.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable clothing you can move in — leggings or shorts and a t-shirt or vest work well.
I may need to see the area we are treating, so bring something that lets me get to it easily.
Can I claim from my medical aid?
Yes. Sessions are charged at medical aid rates and you will receive an invoice with the correct practice and procedure codes to submit to your scheme.
Cover differs from plan to plan, so it is worth checking your day-to-day or physiotherapy benefit before your first visit.
How long is a session?
A first appointment takes about 45 minutes — enough time for a full assessment, treatment and a home programme.
Follow-up sessions are usually 30 minutes.
Is Pilates safe during pregnancy?
For most women, yes. Classes are small, and exercises are adapted for each trimester and for recovery after birth.
Let me know you are pregnant when you book so I can tailor the class, and check with your doctor or midwife first if you have had any complications.
